BLOG PAGE BUILDOUT

My Training Training Library Your Website Buildout on PageCreatorPro.com

In this section, we’re going to look at taking a blog post from the Elite Marketing Pro blog and using it on your own personal blog. 

  1. Locate the blog post you wish to place on your blog

  2. Save the “Featured Image” to your local drive

  3. Copy the headline from the blog post

  4. Go to your PageCreatorPro.com dashboard

  5. Hover over “Posts” and “Add New”

  6. Paste the Title of the Blog post into the “Add Title” text Field

  7. Scroll down to “Featured Image”

  8. Click “Set Featured Image”

  9. Click “Upload Files”

  10. Click “Select Files”

  11. Select the featured image that you downloaded earlier from the blog post

  12. Click the “Set Featured Image” button below

  13. Click “Save Draft”

  14. Click “Launch Thrive Architect”

  15. Click “Add Element” in the dashboard on the far right

  16.  Type “Wordpress”

  17. Drag the “Wordpress Content” element to the main content area

  18. Go back to the elitemarketingpro.com blog and copy the content up until the point where you want to insert a custom call to action

  19. Paste the content into the text area

  20. Click “Save”

  21. Click “Add Element” in the dashboard on the far right

  22. Drag the “Text” element to the main content area below the wordpress content that you just added

  23. Adjust the text to the call to action you wish to apply

  24. Highlight the text and select the hyperlink icon at the top

  25. Begin typing “lightbox” to select the lightbox you wish to pop up

  26. Click “Insert”

  27. Go back to the elitemarketingpro.com blog and copy the rest of the content up until the point where the author information is

  28. Paste the content into the text area

  29. Click “Save”

  30. Click “Add Element” in the dashboard on the far right

  31. Drag the “Templates and Symbols” element to the main content area below the wordpress content that you just added

  32. Select “AMF Opt In”

  33. Click “Choose Template”

  34. Highlight the button (You may have to click “Migrate Element” depending on the version you have)

  35. You may also have to re-align the button to the center by navigating to “Layout & Position” and clicking the “Align Center” icon

  36. Under “Animation & Action” you will need to “trash” the lightbox and add it again

    1. Click the “Trash” icon

    2. Click the “Popups” icon

    3. Click the “Open Thrive LIghtbox” radio button

    4. In the lightbox textfield, type “Light” and select the AMF Lightbox

    5. Click Apply

  37. Go back to the main Post

  38. Click “Publish”

NOTE: The WordPress Content area will not allow you to open a lightbox using a hyperlink. You must link out to an external capture page from content inside of the wordpress content area.
